How technology has changed banking over the years

E-banking, online banking, net banking, etc. have completely changed the way banking is done today.

Technology has slowly taken over about every sector and soon it took over the banking industry, one of the oldest industries in the world.
Banks were always regarded as the place with very long queues and unmanageable
paper works but thanks to technology bank works are a much less of a hassle now.
We all have experienced this new era of banking known as net banking, we order food, clothes or other necessary things and pay for them online, no need to carry cash. Even if you are going out and purchase something you can pay with apps like paytm, gpay etc. Net banking has eliminated the need to carry a wallet everywhere with you and has made our money more secure with us.
I think it safe to say that technology has made banking more reliable due to less chances of errors because when banks totally depended on human accuracy and skills, errors and mistakes were more apparent. But technology has reduced the frequency of errors to almost nil.
Moreover today's technology provides complete security of your transactions and safety of your data and it prevent anyone from misusing the data.
All in all technology has helped banks to provide a much better customer service.
