Food photography tips for bloggers
Food PR and food photography have recently gained popularity.
If you are a food blogger and are completely efficient in describing the taste of the incredible dishes you taste or the atmosphere of the new restaurant, the aura, the vibe different places provide with just use of mere words. But you feel like sometime the photos you click fail to capture the essence of the food or plating and the photo does not provide justice to the dish infront of you. Here are some food photography tips for bloggers.
1) It is always recommended to use a tripod for any kind of photography because sometimes it is hard to achieve the correct balance with our hands and photo might turn out blurry.
2) Always use manual focus while photographing food. you can adjust the focus in the center of the dish or at the part which you want to highlight the most.
3) Always take the photo in natural light. you may move around until you find the correct lighting. Never use the built in flash.
4) Minimize the clutter as much as you can, because we want the main focus of the photo to be the food in it and if the photo has a busy background it might take the attention of the reader away from food.
5) Colour correcting the images and making the colours pop will make the photo appear more delicious.
