Love Marriage vs. Arranged Marriage

Relationship Guidance may be required in both types of marriages. But which one is better? Let’s find out. 

This is a hot top to debate on usually among the youth. Marriage is a very big part of a person's life and everyone wants to have a perfect match. There is not really a right answer to this debate because some people prefer love marriage and some people prefer their parents to pick out the perfect match for them. In India arranged marriage has prevailed for generations only because our ancestors had some questionable beliefs that were forcefully passed down the generations, but indian families now are open to both ideas so, let's discuss the two-

Love marriage-

1)  Both individuals already know each other and it is their collective decision to spend their lives together.

2) Both are individuals are responsible for this choice and will be ready to take the blame if things don't go well.

3) Love marriages can eradicate social evils like dowry.

Arranged marriage-

1) Arranged marriage is not a contract between two individuals but two families and every single one of the family member has to be fine with the decision.

2) In arranged marriage the couple is guided be the parents.

3) Marriage is only possible is the two families are compatible with each other.
